As part of the Rare Beauty Brands family, Patchology is proud to introduce RareCycle™, our program designed to increase sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint.
Patchology’s NEW 2-pack sheet masks come in a resealable pouch. By having two masks in one pouch, there is less packaging required, which ultimately means less waste. Our industry-first resealable sheet mask 2-pack is available in Hydrate, Illuminate and Rosé. Plus, the masks are biodegradable so they can break down naturally over time, reducing their impact on the environment.
The new resealable 2-pack is also made with 50% recycled plastic, an excellent example of how we’re working to reduce our environmental impact.
By using post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, the amount of waste sent to landfills is minimized, and the demand for new raw materials is reduced. This not only helps to conserve natural resources but also reduces the energy required to extract, process, and transport new materials.
One of the challenges with beauty product packaging is that many components are technically able to be recycled, but local recycling plants may not be equipped to handle them. This is why it's important for us to not only use recyclable materials but to also consider the entire life cycle of our products, from production to disposal. In addition to the resealable sheet mask 2-packs, we’re launching a free recycling program with Handle to ensure that their packaging is properly diverted from landfills.
